Washington Bureau Chief of the Executive Intelligence Review

William Jones is the Washington Bureau Chief of the Executive Intelligence Review. He has worked as an EIR correspondent in Europe for 18 years and has spent the last 20 years as EIR’s Bureau Chief and White House correspondent. From the time of the Clinton-Jiang Zemin meeting in Seattle at the APEC Forum in 1994, Jones has increasingly focused on US-China relations. He is one of the authors of the EIR report ``From the New Silk Road to A World Landbridge,’’ which was published in 2014. The report has also been translated into Chinese. Jones is also a non-resident Fellow of the Chongyang Institute for Financial Studies at Renmin University. His articles have appeared in China Daily, People’s Daily, and a number of other Chinese publications. He is also a contributor to an upcoming book to be published in China containing reviews by international observers of Xi Jinping’s speeches and essays which was published in a book form in 2014 under the title ``The Governance of China.’’
