Jesse Tam is the Managing Director of Mega Pacific Investments Ltd., a Washington State corporation formed in 1991 which provides a full range of financial and international business consulting services to clients in the U.S. and among the Asian Pacific countries. He provides financial and international marketing services to support cross border businesses and investment opportunities between US and China with direct investments, EB-5 or joint venture.
Mr. Tam came with an extensive financial and international business background with over 30 years of commercial and investment banking experience. In addition to holding senior management positions with some of the largest financial institutions; such as Bank of America and Royal Trust of Canada; he was also the founder and organizer of three independent banks in Washington State which he served as Chairman and CEO for two of those banks and holding companies with total accumulated assets of over US $300 Million with offices throughout the Western United States. His passion is taking him into real estate development and marketing with many clients among a number of Pacific Rim countries.
In addition, he remains active as a leader in the community, having served his term as Rotary International as District Governor, responsible for overseeing 55 clubs and 3,500 members. Rotary is a worldwide organization in 200 countries with 1.2 million members. In his 30+ years Seattle Rotary Club where he was a charter member and past club president. He was involved with a number of international humanitarian projects in Nepal, Ethiopia, and China as well as working with the Gates Foundation for a matching grant of US$250 Million fund to eradicate Polio with Rotary International.
He has a personal passion in education and actively serviced in many roles including teaching, lecturing, and mentoring at Seattle University, University of Washington, Boise State University, and City University. He has been a volunteer and mentor for business students at Albers Business School of Seattle University since 1991.
Mr. Tam came from Hong Kong and to the United States since 1972. He received his bachelors in business Administration from Boise State University and MBA from City University of Seattle. He was also a graduate of the Pacific Coast Banking School at University of Washington (Pacific Rim Banker’s Program).
Mr. Tam He is bi-lingual fluent in English and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese). He travels extensively around the world for both international business and humanitarian to build connections and bridges for better business and global understanding.
