Jinxiang Ren

Jinxiang Ren has been practising transportation planning, engineering and modeling work in the northwest America since 1990. He is nationally known for his travel demand forecasting expertise and publications. In addition, he worked on his own professional consulting services and business development in China during 2011 and 2013. He has 12 years of working experiences in the private sector and 13 years in the public sectors, including most recent Oregon Department of Transportation, City of Bellevue, Thurston Regional Planning Council (TRPC) and Northwest Transportation Research Center. He leads and manages various transportation modeling and planning projects for air-quality in the metropolitan areas. His significant contribution to the multimodal model development work at TRPC led to a national AMPO award for outstanding leadership achievement for the agency in 2000. Jinxiang's ample experience and expetise in the travel demand modeling discipline are valuable assets to this eco-system conference.
