Pradnya Desh

Pradnya Desh is the Managing Partner for Desh International and Business Law, a full service law firm for companies and non-profits. While the firm advises on business law, employment, intellectual property, technology, real property, litigation, and immigration, Ms. Desh focuses her practice on advising companies and global non-profits on operating internationally. Driven by the philosophy that international trade creates jobs, strengthens businesses, and lifts global populations out of poverty, she helps organizations to sell, source, invest, and establish their presence abroad. She is a former US trade negotiator who represented the United States at the World Trade Organization in Geneva, Switzerland.

Since 1998, Pradnya Desh has focused on international trade and business as an economist, diplomat and then as a private practice attorney. She has represented companies on a wide range of trade topics including distribution in China, customs matters in India, anti-competitive practices in Korea, and medical device filing in Brazil. While part of USTR she negotiated international agreements on trade policy topics, including Doha Round draft text, trade policy reviews, trade-related technical assistance, grant monitoring and evaluation, and WTO accession.
